Team description

SumUp already powers over 4 million businesses worldwide. We're now aiming for bigger names, and we're building the team to do it. In France, our Key Account Sales team goes after larger businesses, from hospitality groups to beauty chains and major retailers. You'll choose how you prospect, by phone or in the field, get into their networks and close the deals. As one of the first people on this new team, you'll help work out what it takes to win these accounts, with plenty of opportunities opening up as we grow. The best part? Your variable pay is uncapped, so there's no ceiling on what you can earn.

What you'll do

🎯 Identify and reach high-potential businesses, such as hospitality groups, beauty chains and major retailers

📞 Run high-volume outreach by phone, in the field and through other channels

🤝 Get in front of decision-makers and understand how their business and sites operate

🎤 Book meetings and run tailored pitches and demos that show how SumUp can support their business

🔥 Own the full sales cycle, from first contact through to closing the deal

🚀 Grow your portfolio and network over time, using each win to open the next door

📊 Track your performance against targets and use feedback and data to keep improving

What we're looking for…

  • Proven experience in outbound sales, with a track record of hitting targets
  • Comfort with high volumes of outreach, by phone or in the field
  • Real drive and resilience: you stay motivated when deals take time or doors stay closed
  • Confidence and the ability to build strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers
  • Comfort with having freedom in how you work, alongside hands-on coaching and support from your team lead
  • Fluency in French and English
