Claims Advisor | Newcastle

Help customers through challenging moments and make a real difference every day.

You don’t need previous claims experience to succeed in this role. We’re open to people from a range of backgrounds who enjoy helping others, can confidently navigate difficult conversations and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Whether your experience is in customer service, contact centres, retail, healthcare, administration or claims, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

  • Support customers through the early stages of their claim and recovery journey.
  • Manage a high volume of customer interactions across phone and digital channels.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Provide clear guidance on the claims process and next steps.
  • Manage sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Identify barriers to recovery and work with others to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Make timely decisions and maintain accurate records.

What you’ll bring

  • Customer service experience and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with different people.
  • Resilience and the ability to manage challenging or sensitive conversations.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Sound judgement, problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • A collaborative approach and strong focus on customer outcomes.

No claims experience? No problem. We’ll provide the training and support you need to build your career in Workers Compensation.
