The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Developer Relations, Twitter Brand Representative based in India.

We are seeking an experienced and influential Developer Relations professional to become a trusted public voice and brand ambassador within the developer ecosystem. In this role, you will leverage your established presence on Twitter (X) to engage with developers, share valuable technical insights, and strengthen the company's visibility and reputation. You will contribute to conversations around emerging technologies, product launches, and the future of software development. Working closely with Developer Relations, Marketing, and Product teams, you will help shape communication strategies and amplify the developer community's voice. You will also represent the organization at industry events, podcasts, and other public engagements. This is an exciting opportunity for a recognized technical communicator to make a meaningful impact in a globally distributed, developer-first environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Build and maintain a visible, credible, and engaging presence on Twitter (X), actively representing the brand through regular posts, replies, and meaningful interactions with the developer community.
  • Create and share high-quality content, including product announcements, technical insights, practical tips, industry opinions, and perspectives on emerging development trends.
  • Participate in relevant developer discussions and contribute to conversations that strengthen brand awareness, credibility, and community engagement.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, podcasts, and other public-facing opportunities, both online and in person.
  • Gather valuable feedback, questions, and insights from developers and communicate them to engineering and product teams to help inform product improvements.
  • Collaborate with New Media, Developer Relations, Product Marketing, and other internal teams to support product launches and communication initiatives.
  • Help shape the organization's public voice and positioning within the broader developer ecosystem.
  • Proven experience in a senior Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or similar developer-facing position.
  • An established and engaged Twitter (X) following, with demonstrated credibility and influence within the developer community. Evaluation will consider audience engagement, the quality of interactions, and the relevance of your network, not just follower numbers.
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, accurately, and engagingly to technical audiences.
  • Excellent writing skills, with a distinctive personal voice and the ability to create compelling, insightful, and relevant content.
  • Confidence and experience representing an organization publicly across social media, video, podcasts, conferences, and industry events.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build authentic relationships and engage effectively with developers and industry professionals.
  • A proactive, self-directed mindset, with strong ownership, initiative, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating across distributed teams and managing priorities in an asynchronous work environment.
  • Fully Remote Work: Work from anywhere in the world, with no requirement to work from a physical office.
  • Co-working Allowance: Access to a WeWork membership or co-working budget to support your preferred working environment.
  • Equity Ownership (ESOP): Receive company equity and participate in the long-term growth and success of the organization.
  • Technology Allowance: Dedicated budget to purchase equipment and tools, including laptops, monitors, headphones, and other work essentials.
  • Health Insurance: 100% of employee health insurance premiums covered, with 80% coverage for eligible dependents, regardless of location.
  • Annual Company Off-Sites: Join colleagues from around the world for a week of collaboration, networking, and team activities in a different city each year.
  • Flexible Working Arrangements: Enjoy an asynchronous working culture with the autonomy to organize your schedule and manage your responsibilities.
  • Professional Development: Annual learning allowance to invest in courses, books, conferences, and other professional growth opportunities.
  • Global Team Environment: Collaborate with an international team spanning more than 60 countries and 20 languages, within a thriving open-source and developer-focused ecosystem.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
