Entry-Level Press Operator

Location: Scottsburg, IN Pay: $14.50 per hour Shifts Available:

  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM (1 opening)
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM (3 openings)

Job Summary

Looking for an opportunity to start your career in manufacturing? We are hiring dependable, motivated individuals for entry-level Press Operator positions in Scottsburg, IN. No advanced machine operation experience is required for candidates who are willing to learn and follow instructions.

As a Press Operator, you will help operate production presses, inspect finished parts, and ensure products meet quality standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can stay focused on repetitive tasks, and takes pride in producing quality products.

Training will be provided on job duties, safety procedures, and detailed work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production presses according to training and work instructions.
  • Inspect parts for quality and identify defects or issues.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and established safety procedures.
  • Complete production paperwork and operator production sheets accurately.
  • Meet daily production goals and quality expectations.
  • Assist with sorting, reworking, and repackaging parts when needed.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Follow company policies and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist team members and supervisors with production needs as directed.

Qualifications

  • No previous press operator experience required; manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn how to operate production equipment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.
