NOW HIRING: PROJECT COORDINATOR – QUALITY & CONTAINMENT

Location: North Carolina / South Carolina Travel Required Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Project Coordinator to oversee quality and containment operations at a Tier 1 automotive supplier location.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in quality, mechanical rework, containment, and team leadership who enjoys coordinating projects and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee on-site quality and containment activities.
  • Manage mechanical rework operations and ensure quality specifications are met.
  • Communicate with customers, supervisors, and inspectors to maintain smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, inspection reports, and quality records.
  • Support new site launches, including setup, training, and process validation.
  • Provide leadership and direction to small teams.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in Quality and/or Containment.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with dimensional inspections and precision measuring tools/metrology equipment.
  • Mechanical rework or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality processes, inspection methods, problem-solving, and containment operations.
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Flexibility to travel and work overtime or weekends as needed.

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
