Sanitation Worker – 3rd Shift

Pay: Starting at $17+/hour

Position Overview

The Sanitation Worker is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, machinery, and facility areas to maintain food safety, product quality, and a safe working environment. This is a third-shift position requiring attention to detail and the ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and facility areas according to established procedures.
  • Safely operate sanitation equipment and cleaning systems.
  • Complete required pre-operational (Pre-Op) inspections and quality checks.
  • Accurately document sanitation activities, inspections, and testing results.
  • Follow company SOPs, food safety standards, and SQF requirements.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Communicate and collaborate with employees across departments.
  • Participate in required training and food safety improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of sanitation, production, or warehouse experience required; food industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in refrigerated environments (35°F–45°F) and freezer conditions (-10°F to +10°F) with company-provided protective apparel.
  • Commitment to following food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.
