Job Responsibilities

  1. Perform welding works using SMAW, MIG, TIG, ARC and other suitable welding techniques.
  2. Carry out structural steel welding, metal fabrication, cutting, grinding, fitting and installation works.
  3. Fabricate and assemble steel frames, metal structures, brackets, supports and related components.
  4. Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding specifications and fabrication plans.
  5. Conduct welding repairs, modifications and installation works at workshops and project sites.
  6. Inspect completed welding works to ensure quality, accuracy and project specifications are met.
  7. Operate and maintain welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders and fabrication tools.
  8. Coordinate with supervisors and project teams to complete assigned works within project deadlines.
  9. Attend to urgent welding assignments and time-sensitive production requirements.
  10. Maintain proper housekeeping, equipment condition and workplace safety.
  11. Perform other welding and fabrication duties assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum 3 years of relevant welding or metal fabrication experience preferred.
  2. Experience in SMAW, MIG, TIG or ARC welding.
  3. Ability to read technical drawings and understand fabrication requirements.
  4. Relevant 3G, 4G or 6G welding certification will be an advantage.
  5. Experience in structural steel, metal frames and fabrication works preferred.
  6. Physically capable of carrying out welding and fabrication duties safely.
  7. Hardworking, responsible, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.
  8. Able to handle demanding workloads and meet tight project deadlines.
  9. Willing to work at different project locations across Singapore.

Working Schedule & Shift Requirements

  • Willing to work rotating shifts, night shifts and late hours when required.
  • Available to work on Sundays and public holidays when assigned.
  • Flexible to accommodate additional working hours during urgent projects and peak production periods.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Willing to perform physically demanding tasks and meet tight production schedules.
  • Overtime and additional work arrangements will be managed according to company policy and applicable requirements.
