Je begint je dag niet met een checklist, maar met een dossier waar iets wringt: je duikt erin, schakelt met vergunningverleners en juristen en stelt vragen die anderen niet stellen. Op locatie sta je als ervaren toezichthouder Bodem bij OMWB tussen aannemers die tempo willen maken, toets je of uitvoering en plan écht overeenkomen en neem je beslissingen als de situatie afwijkt van papier.

Dit betekent stevig in je schoenen staan: niet alleen om te controleren, maar ook om te zorgen dat alles klopt.

Je:

  • Werkt aan complexe dossiers en inhoudelijke vraagstukken
  • Helpt je collega’s bij lastige casussen
  • Denkt mee over hoe toezicht slimmer ingericht kan worden
  • hebt invloed op hoe het werk gedaan wordt, niet alleen op wat er gebeurt

Je werkt in een team van acht bodemspecialisten. We zoeken elkaar actief op, delen kennis en werken samen aan complexe vraagstukken. Binnen het team is veel ruimte voor inhoud, eigen inbreng en ontwikkeling.

Over OMWB

De OMWB is een regionale uitvoeringsdienst. We voeren voornamelijk VTH-taken (vergunningverlening, toezicht en handhaving) uit voor de provincie Noord-Brabant en de gemeenten in de regio Midden- en West-Brabant op het gebied van milieu, veiligheid en leefomgeving. Elke dag opnieuw zetten we ons volledig in om 1,2 miljoen mensen veilig te laten wonen, werken en recreëren, in een gebied met zware industrie, veel agrarische bedrijven en diverse industriële multinationals.

Onze missie: zichtbaar samen werken aan schone, duurzame en veilige omgeving.
