We're looking for a Digital MOE Specialist – Power Platform to play a pivotal role in administering, governing, and optimising our Microsoft Power Platform environment, enabling secure, scalable, and innovative digital solutions across the organisation.   About us   At Sydney Water, we’re passionate about making a difference to the lives of our customers and communities, and our employees. Our people and their jobs are as diverse as the communities we serve.    What will you be doing?   As a, Power Platform subject matter expert, you'll help establish and operate Power Platform as a managed enterprise service. You'll work across Microsoft 365 and Sydney Water ecosystems, supporting governance, automation, application lifecycle management, security, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive business value and innovation.   Your duties will involve:

Administer and optimise Power Platform environments, including Development, Test, UAT, and Production. Support governance, security, compliance, and environment management across the Power Platform ecosystem. Manage Dataverse, capacity consumption, platform health, and lifecycle processes. Support CI/CD pipelines, release management, and application deployments. Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to assess, define, deliver secure and scalable solutions. Enable integrations across Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, and enterprise services. Monitor platform performance, risks, usage, and service health, driving continuous improvement with Microsoft evergreen. Own and enable the Power Platform Centre of Excellence and contribute to best-practice adoption across the business.

  About you

Proven experience administering Microsoft Power Platform in a complex enterprise environment. Strong understanding of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, governance, security controls, and environment management. Experience supporting ALM, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management. Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Conditional Access, SharePoint, Teams, Purview, and Defender, evergreen. Understanding of cybersecurity, information governance, risk management, and compliance requirements. Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors. Microsoft Power Platform certification and ITIL certification, or equivalent experience, will be highly regarded.

  You will have:

Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field Minimum 5+ years of experience working in similar technical role(s), as advanced level administrator, technical consultant or architect Microsoft Power Platform certification or demonstrated equivalent Power Platform administration experience ITIL certification Microsoft Power Platform certification PL-200, PL-400, PL-600 Excellent communication skills, flexibility, team focus and dedication to customer service  Ability to communicate complex technical problems effectively Ability to problem solve difficult issues and come to a technical solution that meets business needs Demonstrated people collaboration skills
