Klinisk Genetik i Vejle søger en engageret og fagligt stærk molekylærbiolog med interesse for genetisk diagnostik. Der er tale om en tidsbegrænset stilling i perioden 1. januar 2027 til og med 31. december 2027.

Om afdelingen

Klinisk Genetik i Vejle varetager – i samarbejde med afdelingen på Odense Universitetshospital – genetisk rådgivning og diagnostik af arveligt betingede sygdomme i Region Syddanmark.

Afdelingen har ca. 60 engagerede medarbejdere og består af både ambulatorie og laboratorie. Vi yder genetisk rådgivning til omkring 4.500 patienter årligt inden for både klassiske genetiske og onkogenetiske problemstillinger.

Laboratoriet er DANAK-akkrediteret, udfører knap 6.000 analyser årligt og arbejder med både molekylær- og cytogenetiske metoder. Vi anvender et bredt spektrum af teknologier – herunder helgenomsekventering på PacBio Revio-platformen.

Vi bidrager aktivt til udviklingen af faget og har fokus på høj kvalitet i både diagnostik og patientforløb. Som led i den nationale strategi for personlig medicin arbejder vi med helgenomsekventering og fortolkning af data for relevante patientgrupper i vores optageområde.

Afdelingen har todelt ledelse med en cheflæge og en chefbioanalytiker og er kendetegnet ved høj grad af medindflydelse, ansvar og et stærkt tværfagligt samarbejde.

Dine kvalifikationer

Vi forventer, at du:

  • har en uddannelse inden for molekylærbiologi, biomedicin eller tilsvarende
  • har erfaring med basale DNA-teknikker, short-read og/eller long-read sekventering
  • kan arbejde i et Linux-miljø
  • har erfaring med SRS/LRS-databehandling, herunder brug af eksisterende scripts
  • har erfaring med variantklassificering, herunder opslag i relevante variantdatabaser

Derudover lægger vi vægt på, at du er ansvarsfuld, energisk, fleksibel og udviklingsorienteret, har gode samarbejdsevner og arbejder med fokus på patienten.
