The posting

Role descriptionAs founding COO, you build the operational backbone of Synaipse. Our physician co-founders own product and clinical strategy; you own go-to-market, partnerships, finance, and the systems that let a small team execute beyond its size. You report directly to the CEO.

You're not inheriting processes. The first enterprise contract, the sales playbook, vendor relationships, the hiring rubric — you build them from scratch and own them long-term.

What you will doGo-to-market strategy and execution: identify target customer segments, build the sales pipeline, and close deals with independent practices, surgical groups, and health systems. Strategic partnerships with EHR vendors, payer organizations, medical societies, and healthcare technology platforms. Financial planning and operations: budgeting, forecasting, fundraising support, and unit economics. Operational infrastructure: the processes, tools, and workflows that let a small team execute at enterprise scale. Team building: recruit, hire, and develop the founding team across sales, customer success, and operations.

Qualified applicants have done this8+ years in operations, strategy, or business development, with 3+ years in a leadership role at a high-growth startup or healthcare company. Taken a B2B SaaS or healthcare product to market, ideally from early stage through initial revenue milestones. Deep understanding of the healthcare landscape: payer dynamics, practice operations, physician-owned credentialing workflows, or revenue cycle management. Built and led cross-functional teams in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments. Strong financial acumen, with P&L ownership, fundraising, and investor relations. Bias toward action: you'd rather ship an 80% solution today than a perfect one next quarter.
