Onze klant is een logistieke dienstverlener die gespecialiseerd is in spoorvervoer en geïntegreerde transportoplossingen. Als onderdeel van een bredere logistieke groep combineert de organisatie spoortransport met weg- en binnenvaartvervoer om goederen efficiënt en duurzaam te verplaatsen. Dankzij eigen spoorinfrastructuur, locomotieven en strategisch gelegen terminals kunnen goederen flexibel en betrouwbaar worden behandeld en vervoerd. Veiligheid, efficiëntie en een vlotte samenwerking tussen verschillende logistieke diensten staan centraal. Je komt terecht in een dynamische omgeving waar teamwork en operationele expertise bijdragen aan een vlotte goederenstroom.

Jobomschrijving

Ben jij een gedreven analytische accountant die niet bang is op de werkvloer op te gaan, de logistieke operatie in te duiken en echt ownership te nemen over de cijfers van A tot Z. Als General Ledger accountant neem jij het voortouw ind e boekhoudkundige opvolging van één of meerdere entiteiten en sla jij de brug tussen de finance en de dagelijkse operatie. Jouw taken zullen zijn:

  • Verzorgen van de maand,- kwartaal,- en jaarafsluitingen. Verwerken van provisies, afschrijvingen en reconciliaties van balansrekeningen.
  • Voorbereiden van boekingen om Btw-aangiftes correct in te dienden, ondersteuning bieden bij vennootschapsbelastingen en proactief fiscale risico's signalieren.
  • Dossiers voor auditors samenstellen, interne procedures bewaken en het vaste aanspreekpunt zijn voor externe controleurs.
  • Actief meedenken over de automatisering van financiële flows en het optimaliseren van accountingprocessen.
  • Afstemmen met afdelingen en operationele keuzes vertalen naar financiële inzichten.

Jij combineert een stevige boekhoudkundige basis met een no-nonsense mentaliteit. Je bent communicatief sterk, kritisch ingesteld en wilt begrijpen wat er achter de cijfers gebeurt. Verder neem je mee:

  • Een bachelor of master in een relevante richting en een mooie eerste ervaring binnen een A-Z accounting omgeving.
  • Een grondige kennis van BE GAAP en een sterke affiniteit met fiscaliteit, kennis van BTW is essentieel.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, hebt oog voor detail en bent proactief in het vinden van oplossingen.
  • Je maakt de operationele processen je snel eigen, werkt flexibel en staat open voor intense samenwerking met collega's.
