The posting

Als lasser-plaatbewerker maak je deel uit van een technisch team dat instaat voor het onderhoud, de herstelling en de aanpassing van afzetcontainers. Je combineert laswerk met diverse activiteiten in de plaatbewerking.

Je takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:

  • Laswerken uitvoeren met de halfautomaat om beschadigde containers te herstellen of bestaande constructies aan te passen.Hoofdzakelijk werk je in het atelier in Geluwe en gaat occasioneel op verplaatsing naar klanten.
  • Je leest technische plannen en denkt actief mee over praktische en duurzame oplossingen op maat.
  • Instaan voor het bewerken van metalen platen, waarbij je gebruikmaakt van machines om materiaal te snijden en te plooien.
  • Je helpt bij het uitwerken van constructies en hulpmiddelen die het dagelijkse werk efficiënter maken.
  • De verschillende machines en werkmethodes leer je hier kennen en krijgt hierbij ondersteuning van een ervaren collega.

Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand met technisch inzicht, een praktische ingesteldheid en een passie voor metaalbewerking.

Daarnaast herken je jezelf in het volgende profiel:

  • Je hebt een technische opleiding gevolgd en beschikt over een goede kennis van halfautomaatlassen en plaatbewerking.
  • Het lezen van technische plannen.
  • Je werkt graag zelfstandig, maar functioneert ook goed binnen een team.
  • Een praktische ingesteldheid helpt je om problemen op te lossen en initiatief te nemen.
  • Je communiceert vlot met collega's en klanten in het Nederlands en/of Frans.
  • Werken in daguren past binnen jouw verwachtingen en enige flexibiliteit vormt geen probleem.
  • Ervaring met constructielassen is mooi meegenomen.
