Voor een technisch gespecialiseerd bedrijf dat actief is in industriële leidingwerken zoeken we een pijpfitter die samen met een team van lassers instaat voor de voorbereiding, het fitten en de montage van leidingen op industriële werven.

In deze functie combineer je technisch inzicht, rekenvaardigheid en praktisch werk. Geen dag is helemaal hetzelfde!

Wat houdt jouw job in?

Als pijpfitter ben je een belangrijke schakel binnen het projectteam. Je werkt nauw samen met de TIG-lasser en zorgt ervoor dat alle leidingonderdelen perfect voorbereid en gemonteerd worden.

Jouw takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:

  • Het lezen en interpreteren van ISO-tekeningen en P&ID's.
  • Het uitvoeren van technische berekeningen, zoals het uitrekenen van bochten, hoeken, diameters en leidinglengtes.
  • Het opmeten en uitzetten van leidingen op de werf.
  • Het fitten en voorbereiden van buizen met verschillende diameters en wanddiktes.
  • Het slijpen en voorbereiden van buizen zodat de lasser meteen aan de slag kan.
  • Het samenstellen en monteren van leidingwerk.
  • Het uitvoeren van bijkomende montagewerken tijdens de verschillende projectfases, zoals gaten boren en afwerkingen verzorgen.
  • Het controleren van je eigen werk en ervoor zorgen dat alles nauwkeurig en volgens plan wordt uitgevoerd.

Belangrijk: je hoeft niet elke berekening uit het hoofd te kennen, maar je moet wel begrijpen hoe je ze maakt. Een pijpfitter-app of je smartphone mag gerust een hulpmiddel zijn, zolang je zelf het nodige technische en wiskundige inzicht hebt.

Wie zoeken we?

We zoeken vooral iemand met een sterk technisch en analytisch denkvermogen.

  • Je hebt een sterke wiskundige basis en beschikt over goed ruimtelijk inzicht.
  • Je begrijpt hoe je technische berekeningen maakt, bijvoorbeeld met diameters, hoeken en de stelling van Pythagoras
  • Je kan technische tekeningen en ISO's lezen en interpreteren.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur ervaring als pijpfitter of in een vergelijkbare technische functie.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, zelfstandig en met oog voor kwaliteit.
  • Je bent flexibel om op verschillende werven te werken.
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B.

Je kan je voldoende uitdrukken in het Engels. Kennis van het Nederlands is een mooie plus.

Extra troeven:

  • Een VCA-attest.
  • Attesten voor heftruck, verreiker of hoogtewerker.
  • Ervaring in industriële leidingwerken.
