Jobomschrijving

Van technische studie tot concrete oplossing op de werf: als Design Engineer maak jij het verschil tussen ontwerp en uitvoering. Je vertaalt technische vraagstukken naar haalbare en efficiënte oplossingen en werkt daarbij nauw samen met verschillende teams. Je komt terecht in een internationale organisatie met vestigingen in Frankrijk, Nederland en het Verenigd Koninkrijk, waar kennisdeling en teamwork centraal staan.

Wat houdt de functie in?Als Design Engineer vorm je de technische schakel tussen het studiebureau en de uitvoering op de werf. Je combineert analyse en advies met praktische ondersteuning en denkt actief mee over verbeteringen.

  • Technische studies: je werkt studies uit als basis voor offertes en adviseert de commerciële teams over mogelijke oplossingen.
  • Projectondersteuning: risicoanalyses, technische vragen en contacten met architecten en ontwerpbureaus maken deel uit van jouw rol.
  • Optimalisaties: je zoekt mee naar technische én economische verbeteringen.
  • Werfondersteuning: tijdens opstartvergaderingen op de werf denk je mee en bied je technische ondersteuning waar nodig.
  • Innovatie en duurzaamheid: je helpt werkmethodes verbeteren, met aandacht voor duurzame en circulaire bouwoplossingen.
  • Samenwerking: je stemt nauw af met collega's van Projecten, Productie en Engineering.

Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Engineering Manager.

Voor deze functie zoeken we een analytisch sterke ingenieur die technische uitdagingen graag omzet in concrete oplossingen.

  • Een masterdiploma als geotechnisch, civiel of industrieel ingenieur is vereist.
  • Minstens een eerste ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie is noodzakelijk.
  • Uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands is belangrijk om vlot met de verschillende betrokken partijen te communiceren.
  • Kritisch denken, oplossingsgericht werken en samenwerken zitten in jouw aanpak.
