Onze klant is een logistieke dienstverlener die gespecialiseerd is in spoorvervoer en geïntegreerde transportoplossingen. Als onderdeel van een bredere logistieke groep combineert de organisatie spoortransport met weg- en binnenvaartvervoer om goederen efficiënt en duurzaam te verplaatsen. Dankzij eigen spoorinfrastructuur, locomotieven en strategisch gelegen terminals kunnen goederen flexibel en betrouwbaar worden behandeld en vervoerd. Veiligheid, efficiëntie en een vlotte samenwerking tussen verschillende logistieke diensten staan centraal. Je komt terecht in een dynamische omgeving waar teamwork en operationele expertise bijdragen aan een vlotte goederenstroom.

Jobomschrijving

Ben jij de leidinggevende die het team van cleaning operatoren vlot aanstuurt, mee de handen uit de mouwen steekt én waakt over een veilige en efficiënte werking van de site? Als Shift Supervisor Cleaning ben jij de persoon die zorgt dat de dagelijkse reiniging van de vrachtwagens soepel, veilig en volgens de hoogste kwaliteitsnormen verlopen. Jouw dagelijkse taken zijn:

  • Je bereidt de dagelijkse acties voor, organiseert de planning en verzorgt de (de)briefings om de operatie gestroomlijnd te laten verlopen.
  • Je staat midden in de operatie en werkt actief mee met je teamleden op de vloer.
  • Je volgt individuele prestaties op, geeft constructieve feedback en inspireert je medewerkers om het beste uit zichzelf te halen.
  • Je bewaakt de voortgang van de werkzaamheden, stuurt bij waar nodig en lost operationele knelpunten snel en doeltreffend op.
  • Je ziet streng toe op de naleving van procedures en veiligheidsvoorschriften en draagt actief bij aan onze veiligheidscultuur en het QESSH-managementsysteem.
  • Je stemt regelmatig af met de Operations Coördinator over de voortgang, noden en aandachtspunten binnen de shift.

Jij bent een daadkrachtige en stressbestendige motivator met een sterk Inzicht in logistieke processen. Je straalt voorbeeldgedrag uit en weet je team met overtuigingskracht te motiveren. Verder neem je mee:

  • Talenkennis: Uitstekende beheersing van zowel het Nederlands als het Engels.
  • Leiderschap & Communicatie: Sterke contactvaardigheden, commerciële affiniteit en het vermogen om kennis op een prettige en heldere manier over te brengen.
  • Persoonlijkheid: Zelfstandig, besluitvaardig en kalm onder druk.
  • Veiligheidsfocus: Actieve betrokkenheid bij veiligheidsculturen en kwaliteitsmanagementsystemen (QESSH).
  • Hands-on mentaliteit: Je bent een echte teamspeler die graag mee op de werkvloer staat om samen resultaat te boeken.
