Onze klant is een logistieke dienstverlener die gespecialiseerd is in spoorvervoer en geïntegreerde transportoplossingen. Als onderdeel van een bredere logistieke groep combineert de organisatie spoortransport met weg- en binnenvaartvervoer om goederen efficiënt en duurzaam te verplaatsen. Dankzij eigen spoorinfrastructuur, locomotieven en strategisch gelegen terminals kunnen goederen flexibel en betrouwbaar worden behandeld en vervoerd. Veiligheid, efficiëntie en een vlotte samenwerking tussen verschillende logistieke diensten staan centraal. Je komt terecht in een dynamische omgeving waar teamwork en operationele expertise bijdragen aan een vlotte goederenstroom.

Jobomschrijving

Ben jij iemand die houdt van afwisseling en een dynamische werkomgeving? Als Yard Planner ben jij het kloppend hart van de operatie op de site. Jij zorgt ervoor dat alles op rolletjes loopt door je vlotte communicatie met stackerchauffeurs en magazijniers. Je komt terecht in een sterk groeiend bedrijf in de logistieke sector, actief in transport, distributie, opslag en intermodale logistiek. Je werkt in een team van enthousiaste en gedreven collega’s.

Wat zal je job inhouden?

  • Coördineren van de communicatie tussen stackerchauffeurs en magazijniers, zodat alles vlekkeloos verloopt;
  • Op aanwijzing van magazijniers geef je instructies aan stackerchauffeurs over het laden en lossen van containers voor in het magazijn;
  • Nauwe samenwerking met collega's op de site en zorgen voor heldere communicatie in beide richtingen;
  • Je neemt extra taken op, zoals het invoeren van info over schadecontainers, wat zorgt voor een afwisselend takenpakket;
  • Je werkt in een 2-ploegenstelsel, met vroege shifts van 6-14u en late shifts van 14-22u.

Jouw profiel als Yard Planner:

  • Je bent nauwkeurig;
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in zowel het Nederlands als Engels;
  • Zelfstandig kunnen werken en initiatief nemen om de voortgang te waarborgen;
  • Flexibel zijn en bereid zijn om naast het begeleiden van de stackerchauffeurs ook andere taken op te nemen;
  • Kennis van de haven is een pluspunt, maar geen vereiste.
