Job Description

Please note: This position will support Midwest & Northeast region (Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; Philadelphia, PA).

We are currently seeking a Technical Services Representative, Professional Pest Management in our Midwest & Northeast region (Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; Philadelphia, PA) to provide technical support to sales, marketing and development efforts for the Syngenta Professional Solutions Professional Pest Management (PPM) control products.

  • Coordination with internal functions such as Field Development/ Product Biology, Marketing and Sales for Syngenta Professional Solutions PPM
  • Reviewing label DFU’s, data analysis, summary, presentation, and training
  • Responsible for the technical support of registered Syngenta Professional Solutions PPM product portfolio within US market (assigned territory)
  • Accountable for planning & coordination of internal or external product support research in alignment with SYN product strategies
  • Provide technical support related any kind of product promotion (lectures/ ads/ pest management programs/web/ etc.)
  • In alignment with other functions represent Syngenta in key business related associations/ research institutions etc.

Qualifications

Required:

  • PhD or Masters degree in Entomology or related science, thorough knowledge of general pest control, & termite control
  • 5-8 years of experience in urban pest control, termite and control strategies
  • Good understanding of regional commercial Syngenta Professional Solutions PPM/ Syngenta Professional Solutions strategy & objectives
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking
  • Travel requirements 50%
  • Must be authorized to work for Syngenta in the United States without work authorization sponsorship

Preferred Requirements

  • Three years of related experience in PPM or related market sector
  • Ability to work cross functional teams
  • Drive results
