At Synpulse, we don’t just consult – we transform. As a leading global management and technology consultancy with Swiss roots, we empower financial institutions to navigate change and seize new opportunities. Since 1996, we've been shaping the future of financial services by delivering cutting-edge expertise in strategy, operations, and technology to banks and insurers worldwide.

What sets us apart is our people. At Synpulse, we cultivate a collaborative, high-impact culture where initiative and creativity are valued. With 21 offices across Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific, we bring together diverse perspectives and talents. We believe innovation thrives where everyone feels they belong and can contribute.

Our core values – Embrace, Drive, Achieve – shape how we work and evolve. We don’t just offer jobs – we offer the chance to develop, make an impact, and be part of a team that’s redefining the future of financial services.

Overview We are looking for a highly capable manager to lead high-impact business and technology transformation engagements across the London Market and wider insurance sector, supporting clients to redesign operating models, optimise processes, and deliver technology-enabled change. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, bringing deep expertise across Delegated Authority, underwriting operations, distribution, and broader insurance transformation initiatives to drive strategic and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading projects, workstreams and delivery teams across the full project lifecycle, from strategy and assessment through to design, implementation and business adoption.
  • Driving the development of future-state operating models, governance frameworks, business processes and transformation roadmaps aligned to client objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, controls, data quality and customer outcomes through technology, automation, AI and innovative ways of working.
  • Contribute to business development activities, proposition development and thought leadership initiatives that strengthen Synpulse’s market presence and support growth across the insurance sector.
  • Coach and mentor consultants whilst fostering a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team environment.
  • Demonstrable experience gained within insurance consulting, London Market insurance, Delegated Authority operations, MGA environments, Lloyd’s syndicates, Insurtech organisations or related transformation environments.
  • Track record of successfully leading business and technology transformation initiatives, managing stakeholders, delivery teams and workstreams across multiple phases of change.
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Delegated Authority - Coverholder management - Binder lifecycle management - Bordereaux oversight - Underwriting operations - Operating model transformation - Process excellence - Insurance technology transformation.

  • Strategic thinking with a pragmatic delivery mindset and ability to move between executive-level discussions and detailed execution.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and facilitation skills which will enable you to build trusted client relationships, influence senior stakeholders and drive successful outcomes.
  • Genuine interest in how emerging technologies, automation, AI and data-driven transformation can reshape insurance operations and create measurable business value.
  • Experience delivering business or technology transformation initiatives, with exposure to Delegated Authority and London Market platforms—such as VIPR, Watertrace, Distribind, DCOM, Velonetic, and AdvantageGo, or comparable vendor solutions—is highly desirable.
  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent experience. Advanced qualifications (MBA, MSc, MA or equivalent) and/or relevant professional certifications considered advantageous but not essential.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
