The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Designer, AI-Native Products (Staff-Level / L6) based in United Kingdom.

Join a forward-thinking team shaping the next generation of AI-powered workplace experiences. As a Staff-level Product Designer, you will lead the design of innovative, AI-native products that transform how employees learn, collaborate, and interact with intelligent systems. You will help make conversational AI and autonomous workflows feel intuitive, trustworthy, and genuinely useful in everyday work. Working closely with Product and Engineering leaders, you will influence product strategy, define design direction, and turn ambitious ideas into impactful experiences. This role combines strategic ownership with hands-on design excellence in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. If you thrive on ambiguity and enjoy solving complex problems where established design patterns are still emerging, this is an opportunity to shape the future of AI-driven interaction.

Accountabilities

  • Lead end-to-end product design: Own major AI-native product initiatives, from identifying user problems and framing opportunities to prototyping, delivery, launch, and continuous improvement.
  • Define design vision and strategy: Establish the design direction for conversational and AI-powered product experiences while ensuring consistency across related product areas.
  • Shape product decisions: Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define product principles, establish quality standards, prioritize opportunities, and align design decisions with business objectives and user needs.
  • Design conversational AI experiences: Create engaging, natural interactions with real-time AI avatars that support employee learning, skills development, practice, and workplace conversations.
  • Develop intuitive AI workflows: Design interaction patterns for AI-driven and agentic systems, balancing automation with appropriate levels of user control, transparency, and trust.
  • Improve AI output quality: Build structured workflows, contextual guidance, and feedback mechanisms that help users understand AI behavior, identify issues early, and refine results confidently.
  • Prototype and validate emerging concepts: Experiment with new interaction models, including conversational and agentic experiences, using rapid prototyping and user testing to validate ideas and reduce uncertainty.
  • Raise the design craft standard: Champion excellence in interaction design, visual design, usability, systems thinking, and consistency across AI-powered experiences.
  • Champion customer needs: Incorporate user research, customer feedback, and product insights into design decisions, particularly for enterprise environments where quality, compliance, and scalability are essential.
  • Influence cross-functional teams: Communicate design rationale clearly, facilitate productive design reviews, and help stakeholders navigate complex decisions in fast-moving and ambiguous product environments.
  • Staff-level product design experience: Significant experience designing and shipping complex, high-usage digital products, with a demonstrated ability to lead major initiatives and influence product direction as a senior individual contributor.
  • AI-native product expertise: Experience designing AI-powered products, agentic capabilities, conversational interfaces, or systems in which AI takes meaningful autonomous action is highly valuable.
  • Exceptional design craft: Strong interaction and visual design skills, supported by a portfolio demonstrating high-quality execution and measurable improvements to the user experience.
  • Strategic problem-solving: Ability to translate ambiguous, rapidly evolving challenges into clear product direction, actionable design principles, and well-defined opportunities without waiting for perfect information.
  • Systems thinking: Understanding of how AI capabilities, model limitations, technical architecture, and product constraints influence user experience and interaction design decisions.
  • Trust-centered design: Experience creating workflows where transparency, user control, reliability, and confidence in AI-generated outputs are essential.
  • End-to-end ownership: Proven ability to take innovative ideas from early-stage exploration through validation, execution, launch, and ongoing optimization.
  • Prototyping and experimentation: Ability to test concepts quickly, explore alternative interaction models, and determine when high-fidelity prototypes are needed to validate complex experiences.
  • Cross-functional communication: Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting design decisions, facilitating reviews, and influencing stakeholders across Product and Engineering.
  • Customer-focused mindset: Experience using user research, customer feedback, and behavioral insights to deliver solutions that address real needs, including enterprise requirements around quality, compliance, and scale.
  • Leadership through influence: Ability to raise the quality bar, establish shared design principles, and guide teams toward coherent, effective product experiences without relying solely on formal management authority.
  • Adaptability and ownership: A proactive, experimental approach to solving novel problems, embracing change, and balancing speed with thoughtful execution.
  • Flexible, remote-friendly work: A Europe-based opportunity with flexibility to work remotely, subject to employment and location arrangements.
  • International work hubs: Potential to work from offices in London, Copenhagen, Munich, or Zurich.
  • Generous annual leave: 25 days of annual leave, plus public holidays applicable in your country of residence.
  • Work-from-home support: A home-office setup to help you work comfortably and effectively.
  • Global work flexibility: The opportunity to work from anywhere in the world for up to 60 days per year, subject to applicable policies and practical limitations.
  • Referral rewards: Access to a generous employee referral scheme.
  • Career growth: An opportunity to shape a market-defining AI product, influence strategic product decisions, and expand your impact in an emerging technology space.
  • Meaningful design ownership: The chance to establish new interaction patterns and help define how people engage with AI in professional environments.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
