Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to monitor and protect network infrastructure, manage firewall configurations, investigate security incidents, and identify potential vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network security and identify threats
  • Configure and manage firewall rules and security policies
  • Investigate security incidents
  • Identify vulnerabilities and recommend security improvements
  • Maintain security documentation and incident reports

Requirements

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity or network security.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in firewall management and network security.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles.
  • Practical experience in firewall configuration and management.
  • Knowledge of security monitoring and incident response.
  • Good English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, particularly Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
  • CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or an equivalent cybersecurity certification.
