About this role

The P2P Accounts Payable Specialist role is located in the Purchase-to-Pay department/pillar within our Global Finance Operations. He is responsible for all Accounts Payable/P2P tasks (booking invoices, payments, Ageing reports, BSARs) related to 1 or multiple legal entities/business units. He is also responsible for supporting the RTR accountants and the senior management when needed.

The P2P Accounts Payable Specialist doesn't have direct reports and is responsible for ensuring that priorities and deadlines are being respected.

These are some of the key components of the position:

  • Book supplier invoices/credit notes in the system
  • Jira ticket management within turnaround time for the assigned entities (business requests)
  • Ensure suppliers' requests are answered on a timely basis
  • Ensure supplier payments are created on a timely basis
  • Run the Aging Payables Report & Account Certification on a timely basis.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Support Specialist on Match Exception/Invoice Verification
  • Collaborate with Governance Lead -P2P on SOPs/Procedure.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Collaborate and support the Team Lead - P2P with rollout projects/others

What will you bring to the team?

  • Self-Starter and organised
  • University degree desired (Accounting/Finance degree)
  • 0-4 years of experience and understanding of Finance Operations
  • Understanding of Global Finance Operations practices and relevant functional areas (i.e. Quote to Cash, Source to Pay, Project to Result,.)
  • Proficient in ERP (preferably Workday), MS Suite, and Google suite
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and excellent communication skills, proficient in the English language.
  • Ability to problem-solve and prioritise
  • Good data analytics skills set
