About this role

As an O2C Accountant in our Global Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our UK Restaurant Partners (RPs). Reporting directly to the O2C Team Lead, you will act as a trusted operational finance contact across UK departments.

In this role, you will live our values to Lead, Deliver, and Care. By collaborating closely with your team and stepping into our partners’ shoes, you’ll ensure seamless financial operations and deliver an exceptional partner experience every day.

These are some of the key components to the position:

  • Manage Change of Ownership and Change of Restaurant Details (CORDs) processes, safeguarding partner bank details to ensure timely, accurate payments.
  • Review and process partner bank forms within our 2-day SLA, maintaining documentation on Google Drive to drive operational excellence.
  • Oversee the weekly payment holds list, proactively resolving queries prior to payment runs to minimize held values and durations.
  • Investigate and account for returned bank payments, liaising with partners to promptly obtain corrected information.
  • Accurately calculate split payments resulting from restaurant ownership changes, maintaining high data integrity.
  • Deliver outstanding support by responding to incoming internal and external finance queries with speed and professionalism.
  • Partner across departments to simplify processes, raise the bar on finance operations, and solve complex partner queries.
  • Support the O2C Team Lead and wider team with ad-hoc projects and holiday coverage, lifting each other up to achieve shared goals.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Practical experience working within a finance or accounting environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset with a passion for teamwork, shared success, and lifting colleagues up.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, taking personal ownership of results and problem-solving.
  • Clear, empathetic communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach with an eagerness to learn and drive continuous improvements.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zendesk, or Google Workspace is an advantage, but not essential.
