Job Description

About the Role

In this role, you will help shape the global commercial strategy for an investigational therapy in acute ischemic stroke, a high-burden condition with significant unmet need and limited treatment options for many patients. You will play a key role during proof-of-concept development, guiding strategic choices that inform the target product profile and potential later-stage clinical development. This is not a conventional marketing role focused on campaigns or promotional materials. You will bring a broad commercial and program perspective to complex scientific, clinical, access, manufacturing, and market questions. Working with a global cross-functional team, you will evaluate potential scenarios, clarify decision points, and anticipate how the rapidly evolving treatment landscape may affect the program. Your work will contribute to evidence-based investment decisions, future commercialization planning, and preparation for hospital-based adoption if proof of concept is achieved.

How You Will Contribute

  • Lead commercial scenario planning by evaluating clinical outcomes, competitor developments, treatment changes, regulatory pathways, and potential commercialization options.
  • Shape clinical development strategy by connecting endpoints, evidence requirements, patient needs, access considerations, and potential pricing implications.
  • Refine the target product profile through market research, stakeholder insights, forecasting, and assessment of future treatment scenarios.
  • Establish strategic decision frameworks that clarify available options, key assumptions, decision triggers, and recommendations for program investment.
  • Guide cross-functional collaboration across clinical development, access, insights, manufacturing, medical, regulatory, and regional teams.
  • Develop positioning and market strategy for potential standalone or combination use within a complex scientific-based treatment pathway.
  • Engage scientific and senior stakeholders to test strategic options, communicate recommendations, and support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • University degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience supporting a product launch, pre-launch program, or late-stage clinical development program.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop scenarios, evaluate assumptions, and translate complex scientific and market information into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Experience translating strategy into execution through insight generation, partner management, budget and timeline ownership, and delivery of critical assets.
  • Ability to understand complex scientific evidence and communicate effectively with scientific experts, cross-functional partners, and senior leaders.
  • Strong business judgment, communication, influencing, stakeholder management, and information-processing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead globally across functions, work independently, manage uncertainty, and deliver outcomes with minimal direction.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
