  • Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills involving electrical and pneumatic instrumentation, control systems, and related technical equipment.
  • Operate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot calibration test equipment while applying appropriate metrology techniques and measurement practices.
  • Review and approve calibration reports, verify out-of-tolerance conditions, and initiate corrective actions when necessary to support safe and reliable operations.
  • Plan and schedule routine and non-routine calibration activities for assigned areas and instrumentation, balancing metrology requirements with production schedules.
  • Support new installations, modifications, and project activities in partnership with Engineering, Maintenance, Process Control, PMO, and external contractors.
  • Support system specification reviews, Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) verification, and the implementation of department projects and process improvements.
  • Support and troubleshoot PLCs, microprocessors, automated control systems, and control system instrumentation, applying knowledge of control logic and process control principles.
  • Maintain accurate calibration records, reports, and other required documentation in accordance with SOPs, GMP/GDP requirements, and applicable calibration standards, including ISO/IEC 17025 where applicable.
  • Train and provide technical guidance to other technicians, review work for quality and accuracy, and help coordinate resources and daily metrology activities when the supervisor is unavailable. Sr Instrument Technician

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
