Role Overview

Our confidential client is seeking a Sales Representative for Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) solutions in Riyadh. The role is responsible for driving project-based sales across contractors, developers, consultants, and other construction stakeholders, while expanding the company's market presence across insulation, lightweight fill, panels, blocks, and related EPS applications.

The Sales Representative will report directly to the General Manager and will play a key role in building a qualified sales pipeline, supporting specification and approval efforts, preparing and following up on quotations, coordinating internally on technical and commercial requirements, and converting opportunities into profitable orders in a competitive construction materials environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead sales development efforts for EPS products and support disciplined opportunity management, customer relationship growth, and commercial execution across the assigned market.

- Market Development & Prospecting: Identify and qualify new business opportunities across contractors, developers, consultants, procurement teams, project owners, and selected channel partners; build a healthy pipeline across design-stage, tender-stage, and live project opportunities.

- Specification & Project Selling: Promote EPS solutions for insulation, lightweight fill, panels, and blocks; engage consultants, engineers, and project stakeholders to support product awareness, approvals, and specification inclusion where relevant.

- Client & Site Engagement: Conduct regular visits to contractor offices, consultant offices, project sites, and customer facilities to assess demand, understand project requirements, and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers.

- Quotations & Tender Follow-up: Prepare timely commercial offers, quotations, and supporting documents; follow submitted quotations, tenders, and clarifications closely to improve conversion rates and shorten the sales cycle.

- Pricing & Margin Discipline: Negotiate pricing, delivery expectations, and commercial terms within approved authority limits while protecting target margins and pricing integrity.

- Technical Coordination: Work closely with internal technical, production, quality, and logistics teams to align customer requirements with feasible product solutions, lead times, and delivery commitments.

- Forecasting & CRM Discipline: Maintain accurate opportunity records, customer interactions, site visit logs, quotation status, and pipeline updates in the CRM; submit weekly activity reports and monthly forecasts to the General Manager.

- Collections & Commercial Follow-through: Support collections follow-up on assigned accounts in coordination with Finance; track overdue balances, follow payment commitments, and escalate risks where needed.

- After-sales Support: Coordinate on delivery issues, complaints, replacements, and service-related matters to protect customer confidence and support repeat business.

- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, project awards, and changing customer requirements, and provide practical market feedback to management.

Qualifications

- +3 years of proven sales experience in Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) or closely related construction / building materials.

- Strong understanding of the construction project sales cycle, including specification support, quotations, tendering, contractor engagement, negotiation, and order follow-through.

- Experience dealing with contractors, developers, consultants, procurement teams, and site stakeholders.

- Strong commercial awareness, relationship-management capability, and ability to work with pricing and margin expectations.

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

- Strong communication, coordination, and reporting capability.

- Valid driving license and willingness to travel regularly across the assigned territory.

Preferred / Nice-to-have

- Experience in insulation materials, lightweight construction products, prefabricated systems, or specialized building materials.

- Working knowledge of EPS densities, applications, and project-based technical requirements.

- Existing network within the Saudi construction market.

- Experience using CRM systems, quotation tools, and ERP-linked sales processes.

- Arabic and English communication capability.

Success Metrics

- Sales revenue and gross margin targets are achieved in line with the approved territory plan.

- A qualified and reliable pipeline is maintained across target accounts and active projects.

- Quotation turnaround and quotation-to-order conversion improve through disciplined follow-up.

- EPS solutions gain stronger project penetration through specification, approval, and repeat demand.

- Customer relationships strengthen across contractors, developers, consultants, and procurement stakeholders.

- CRM records, weekly activity reports, and monthly forecasts remain accurate, timely, and actionable.

- Overdue balances on assigned accounts are controlled through consistent follow-up and early escalation.

- The Sales Representative is recognized as a responsive, commercially disciplined, and technically credible market-facing representative of the company.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
