The posting

Talent Diamond is recruiting an Installation Technician on behalf of our client in Riyadh. Saudi nationals are preferred.

The successful candidate will handle, pack, unpack, move and install artworks and display items within a warehouse or studio environment. We welcome applicants with hands-on technical experience in installation, carpentry, furniture assembly, exhibitions, warehousing, logistics or similar fields. Previous art-sector experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely handle and move crated and uncrated artworks and other delicate items within, into and out of the facility.
  • Carefully unpack, unwrap, pack and protect items for storage, transportation and display.
  • Assist with installation, including hanging paintings and positioning objects on display stands.
  • Prepare items for photography and presentation.
  • Use appropriate tools and handling equipment safely.
  • Operate pallet trucks, handling skates and stackers following the required training and authorization.
  • Assist with inventory checks, storage organization and tracking item movements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all health and safety procedures.
  • Provide general technical and handling support as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a technical or vocational qualification is an advantage.
  • 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in installation, carpentry, furniture assembly, exhibitions, warehousing, logistics or a similar field.
  • Ability to use tools and handle fragile or valuable items carefully.
  • Familiarity with packing materials, safe lifting and handling procedures.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and work within a team.
  • Willingness to learn specialist artwork handling and installation procedures.
  • Previous experience with artworks is an advantage, but is not essential.
  • Saudi nationals preferred.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
