Talent Formula (www.talentformula.co) is a consulting firm that offers outsourced financial and accounting Human Resources to Chartered Accounting firms worldwide.

We currently have an Intermediate Accountant (Audit) position available with our client Blick Rothenberg.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, working closely with the audit team throughout the engagement
  • Perform and support the completion of audit fieldwork, including planned substantive and analytical procedures
  • Take responsibility for planning and completing audit assignments, ensuring audit files are properly documented and compliant
  • Prepare statutory financial statements based on client data
  • Identify and highlight key risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Director/Manager (PDM), applying sound professional judgement
  • Progressively take ownership of planning, execution, and finalization of audit assignments for PDM review
  • Lead, manage, motivate, and coach junior team members to support their development
  • Mentor early-career colleagues and collaborate effectively with trainees, peers, and Managers
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on high performance and continuous improvement

Skills & Experience & Qualifications

  • Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant or ACA or ACCA.
  • 2 years of statutory audit experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills; able to show initiative and apply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of financial statement preparation and the ability to review disclosures using checklists
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and technical proficiency.
  • Awareness of business trends and emerging industry and technical developments.
