Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operationalsupport of the API Gateway platform to maintain optimal system availability,reliability and performance in a cloud-hosted environment.
  • Supervise external maintenancevendors and service providers, ensuring timely delivery of technical support,maintenance activities and contractual service commitments.
  • Facilitate incident investigation,problem resolution and root cause analysis for system disruptions, APIintegration failures and performance-related issues.
  • Evaluate system monitoringreports, application logs and operational alerts to detect potential technicalissues and implement preventive measures.
  • Coordinate scheduled systemmaintenance, software upgrades, security updates and configuration enhancementswhile minimising disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with applicationteams, infrastructure specialists, cybersecurity personnel and external serviceproviders to address technical dependencies and integration challenges.
  • Administer operational processes,including incident tracking, change management, service requests and escalationprocedures, in accordance with established IT service management practices.
  • Facilitate security complianceactivities, vulnerability remediation, system audits and disaster recoveryexercises to safeguard platform operations and meet relevant ICT requirements.
  • Assess vendor performance,maintenance deliverables and service-level agreements (SLAs), while identifyingopportunities to strengthen service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Produce operational performancereports, maintain technical documentation and recommend continuous improvementsto enhance system resilience, support processes and overall service delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree inInformation Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or arelated discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevantexperience in IT operations or enterprise systems support, with exposure tovendor or outsourced maintenance management.
  • Good knowledge of enterpriseapplications, API Gateway platforms, cloud environments, networking and systemtroubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience in incident,problem and change management, system maintenance and SLA monitoring.
  • Strong analytical,problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills, with theability to work independently and manage vendors effectively.
