Company: Eiben Landscaping

💰 Pay Rate

• All positions: $18 per hour, paid by direct deposit

• Overtime paid at 1.5x

• No guaranteed minimum hours; hours depend on weather (1–3 days off possible)

Start Date: Early December

Employment: Full-time seasonal, December–February (may extend to March 1);

🔧 Position Details

Role: Landscape & Construction Laborer

Available Opportunities

• Laborer – Snow removal, construction, and landscaping

• Crew Leader – Leads the crew and assigns daily tasks

Schedule

• Regular hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch

• Snow events: on call starting at midnight, with 1-hour advance notice; sites must be cleared by 7–8 AM

• Work shifts with the weather: construction in good weather, snow removal during snowfall, and indoor work when possible

🛠️ Job Responsibilities

• Snow removal: clear sites using trucks and equipment, and prepare vehicles for the next snowfall

• Construction: concrete, carpentry, block work, and finishing

• Landscaping and property maintenance

• Operate equipment such as mowers, skid steers, and trucks with trailers

• Crew Leader: direct the crew and assign tasks

✈️ Relocation & Travel

• One-way flight to Pittsburgh (PIT) arranged and covered

• Client-rented house: $500/month per person, including rent, electricity, and gas (deducted weekly from pay)

• Furnished with beds, shower, cable, and internet; 2 people per room, 1 bathroom

• Transportation provided between the house and the job site

📋 Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating equipment

• Versatile skills: some carpentry, electrical, or concrete finishing

• Good physical condition; the work is about 80% physically demanding

• Driver's license required for Crew Leader; preferred for all positions

• Reliable, honest, and willing to work in cold weather

• Spanish speakers welcome (translation device provided)

• Must buy own work boots (client can provide transportation to the store); gloves provided

🧪 Pre-Employment Requirements

• Phone or video interview with the client, 1–2 days after resume submission

• 5-panel drug test required

• Clean criminal record preferred
