Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate Chinese language lessons and learning activities for preschool children.
  • Develop engaging learning materials to support children's Chinese language development, including listening, speaking, reading and writing.
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages children's interest in the Chinese language and culture.
  • Monitor and document children's learning progress, development and classroom participation.
  • Provide guidance and support to children according to their individual learning needs.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and well-organised classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents on children's learning progress and development.
  • Work closely with colleagues and the management team to support curriculum planning and implementation.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE-T) with Chinese Language teaching qualification.
  • ECDA-certified L2 Chinese Language Teacher.
  • Relevant preschool teaching experience, preferably at a senior level.
  • Strong Chinese language proficiency and classroom management skills.
  • Passionate about early childhood education and supporting children's holistic development.
