Onze klant beschikt over een groot magazijn en zoekt een Internationaal Transportcoördinator die verantwoordelijk is voor de opvolging van de transportstromen vanuit het magazijn. Je volgt orders nauwgezet op, bewaakt welke goederen klaar zijn voor vertrek, stemt af met de transportplanners en zorgt voor een correcte administratieve afhandeling.

Het gaat niet om een pure planningsfunctie, maar om een gevarieerde rol waarin je operationele opvolging combineert met klantencontact, commerciële onderhandelingen en jouw kennis van transport.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden als Internationaal Transportcoördinator

  • Je volgt transportorders van A tot Z op.
  • Je bewaart het overzicht over de goederenstromen in het magazijn en waakt erover dat alles vlot verloopt.
  • Je stemt regelmatig af met de transportplanners en bezorgt hen de nodige transportinformatie.
  • Je beantwoordt vragen van klanten en zoekt naar oplossingen wanneer er zich problemen voordoen.
  • Je zorgt voor een correcte administratieve verwerking en facturatie.
  • Je zoekt externe transportpartners wanneer een lading onvoldoende volume heeft om een volledige vrachtwagen te vullen.
  • Je onderhandelt over transporttarieven en maakt duidelijke prijsafspraken.
  • Je denkt mee na over hoe de beschikbare laadcapaciteit zo efficiënt mogelijk benut kan worden.

Wat verwacht onze klant van jou?

  • Minstens 5 jaar ervaring binnen transport, logistiek of forwarding
  • Een goede kennis van transportprocessen
  • Sterke organisatorische vaardigheden en het vermogen om overzicht te bewaren
  • Commerciële feeling en onderhandelingsvaardigheden
  • Zelfstandig werken en verantwoordelijkheid opnemen
  • Een vlotte kennis van het Nederlands, Engels en Frans: perfect hoeft niet maar je hebt wel spreekdurf.
