Als brigadier ben jij de drijvende kracht achter het onderhoud en de werking van onze kranen in de haven van Antwerpen. Jij combineert jouw technische expertise met sterk leiderschap. Je stuurt een team van kraantechniekers aan, organiseert het werk, verdeelt taken efficiënt en zorgt dat alles veilig, kwalitatief en volgens planning verloopt.

Het takenpakket omvat:

  • Verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse aansturing van een team van kraantechniekers die instaan voor het onderhoud, de herstellingen en de optimale werking van de havenkranen.
  • Planning, organisatie en coördinatie van de dagelijkse constructie-, onderhouds- en reparatiewerkzaamheden op de terminal.
  • Efficiënt verdelen van taken binnen het team en toezien op een correcte uitvoering volgens planning, kwaliteitseisen en operationele prioriteiten.
  • Toezicht houden op de naleving van veiligheidsvoorschriften, kwaliteitsnormen en interne procedures tijdens alle werkzaamheden.
  • Ondersteunen van techniekers bij technische vraagstukken en bijdragen aan het oplossen van storingen en operationele uitdagingen.
  • Coachen, begeleiden en motiveren van medewerkers met aandacht voor samenwerking, ontwikkeling en een positieve teamcultuur.
  • Bewaken van de voortgang, kwaliteit en efficiëntie van de werkzaamheden en bijsturen waar nodig om de vooropgestelde doelstellingen te behalen.
  • Nauwe samenwerking met de Operations-afdeling om een vlotte, veilige en efficiënte operationele flow op de terminal te garanderen.
  • Rapportering aan de verantwoordelijke van de kraandienst over de voortgang van de werkzaamheden, resultaten en aandachtspunten.

Wat maakt jou de ideale kandidaat?

  • Diploma A2 of hoger in een technische richting, of gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring binnen een industriële of havenomgeving.
  • Uitgebreide technische kennis van mechanica, elektromechanica, onderhoudstechnieken en industriële installaties.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in het aansturen van medewerkers, met een natuurlijke leiderschapsstijl gericht op coaching, motivatie en samenwerking.
  • Sterke organisatorische vaardigheden en het vermogen om werkzaamheden efficiënt te plannen, te coördineren en prioriteiten te stellen.
  • Veiligheidsbewust, kwaliteitsgericht en in staat om onder druk het overzicht te bewaren in een dynamische operationele omgeving.
  • Ervaring binnen een haven- of terminalomgeving vormt een belangrijke meerwaarde voor deze functie.
  • Kennis van Gottwald-kranen is een troef en zorgt voor een snelle integratie binnen de technische werking van de organisatie.
  • Zeer goede beheersing van het Nederlands, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk, en vlotte communicatie met collega's en andere stakeholders.
  • Geen hoogtevrees, in het bezit van een rijbewijs B en bereid om in een ploegensysteem (vroege/late) en sporadisch in het weekend te werken.
