The posting

Know a skid steer from the inside out? Maybe you're not even looking right now. That's fine. But if the right shop showed up, you'd listen. This is that shop.

Leppo Rents is hiring Technicians/Mechanics of all experience levels for our Tallahassee location — technicians who can hit the ground running and deliver the kind of service our customers have come to expect. We value hustle, hands-on experience, and techs who can think on their feet, whether they're elbow-deep in a hydraulic system in the shop or not.

Join a company that cares about its technicians. Apply today and find out what it means to work the Leppo Way.

What's In It for You

  • Competitive pay based on skill
  • Bi-annual tool allowance
  • Training & development to grow your skill set
  • Quarterly and annual performance bonuses
  • Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability Insurance
  • Paid Holidays, PTO, Floating Holiday, Parental Leave & Community Time Off
  • Company-paid apparel allowance, plus milestone anniversary gifts
  • 401(k) with company match

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on experience repairing and servicing quipment — skid steers, mini excavators, telehandlers, and more preferred
  • The ability to troubleshoot fast, diagnose accurately, and get machines back to work
  • A customer-first mindset — our technicians represent Leppo in every interaction
  • A team player who steps up and keeps the shop moving

What You'll Do

  • Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on compact construction equipment — mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
  • Handle routine maintenance to keep our rental fleet ready to work
  • Use computer-based diagnostic tools to troubleshoot efficiently
  • Keep accurate repair and maintenance records and manage work orders
  • Mentor and collaborate with teammates across Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental

Why Join Leppo?

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
