Evening Urgent Care Fellow

Local Doctors Ōtara 24/7 | Evening opportunities

You’ve built your Urgent Care experience. Now find a place where you can put it to work.

At Local Doctors Ōtara, you’ll join an established 24/7 Urgent Care service with a broad mix of acute presentations, experienced clinicians and a highly skilled nursing team around you.

You’ll have the autonomy to practise within your scope, with strong clinical pathways, modern technology and wrap-around support helping you focus on what matters most - making good clinical decisions and caring for your patients.

With experienced clinical colleagues around you, you’ll have the opportunity to share knowledge, discuss cases and draw on different perspectives when you need them. It’s a collaborative environment that gives you the clinical variety, autonomy and support to keep developing your practice, while having a team behind you.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for an Urgent Care Fellow who wants to practise at their best, contribute to a strong clinical team and continue shaping their career in Urgent Care.

You’ll bring:

  • Urgent Care experience and clinical confidence, with the ability to assess and manage a broad range of acute presentations.
  • Current MCNZ registration, or eligibility for registration, within the appropriate scope of practice.
  • Sound clinical judgement and decision-making, with the confidence to work autonomously and recognise when to draw on the expertise of colleagues.
  • A collaborative approach to clinical care, contributing to discussion, shared decision-making and a strong team environment.
  • A commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care, with an ongoing focus on developing your practice.
