SUMMARY   An Inventory Receiving Clerk, or Shipping and Receiving Clerk, is responsible for maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing product shipments. Their duties include unloading delivery trucks and checking incoming shipments against product invoices, organizing, and storing shipments until they receive outgoing order requests and notifying management personnel when they don’t have enough of a particular product to fulfill orders.   Working at Tamarack is an incredibly rewarding and magical experience. We celebrate and respect our diverse team members and guests.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned, including weekend work.

Maintaining organizational structure in the Food and Beverage Storage Locations. Receiving deliveries, comparing goods received to invoice received, assuring quality goods are received, reporting any discrepancies. Receiving internal orders from departments on property, gathering the items from storage rooms, delivering the internal order to the proper location, communicating any product discrepancies. Communicating potential low stock or overstock items. Receiving and delivering mail drops to proper locations Completing monthly Inventory counts Regular cleaning evolutions to ensure a clean safe work environment

  QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Good at math Detail-oriented Ability to lift 50 pounds or more Strong communication and organizational skills Valid Driver’s license

  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Requires knowledge of computer hardware, word-processing, spreadsheet, and database software, prefer experience with Microsoft Office.  Requires knowledge of business letter writing and business forms; office procedures, business English, including vocabulary, correct grammatical usage and punctuation, filing systems; and common office machines and their operation.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Food and Beverage knowledge preferred.

  LANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluent in English   MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to do basic arithmetic   PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   Frequent bending, climbing, kneeling squatting, twisting/turning from waist and pushing/pulling objects. Will be working with hands and fingers, lifting, and moving objects up to 40 pounds horizontally and vertically on a regular basis. Near and far vision as well as good depth perception and color vision are important. Frequent use of senses. Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.   WORK ENVIROMENT The work environment characteristics described here are reprehensive of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Working inside of walk in Refrigerators and Freezers for short periods at a time. Working outdoors in cold weather conditions. Weekend and holiday work will be required
