Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise, design, and implement interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Qlik Sense Enterprise and/or QlikView based on business requirements.
  • Develop efficient data models (Star/Snowflake schemas) and write clean, optimized Qlik load scripts and QVD layers.
  • Build advanced expressions, variables, and complex Set Analysis expressions to meet custom business logic.
  • Write and tune robust SQL queries to extract and merge data from diverse relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle, cloud data warehouses).
  • Implement row-level and data-level security controls utilizing Qlik Section Access.
  • Monitor daily data reloads, resolve script failures, and conduct comprehensive unit and integration testing.
  • Work directly with business users to translate loose reporting requirements into precise functional design specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on data lineage, script configurations, and user guides.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Qlik Sense or QlikView application development.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Qlik Scripting, QVD management, QlikView, BigQuery, DBT, Set Analysis, and complex SQL querying.
  • Solid understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) and data warehousing methodologies.
  • Prior experience working with the Qlik Management Console (QMC) for application management and stream configurations is preferred.
  • Qlik Sense Data Architect certification is highly preferred.
