The posting

Our client Askari Life Assurance is looking for Group Manager in Lahore.  Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and performance.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to enhance productivity and teamwork.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for professional development.
  • Manage budgetary operations to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with other department managers to ensure cross-functional alignment and efficiency.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues that arise, implementing improvements where necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in managing a team of diverse professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective strategies for organizational growth.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master's preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Thorough understanding of business processes and financial principles.
  • Proficiency in using business management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and lead complex projects.
