We seek a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our busy school office team to provide an effective administrative support service. This will involve working in the school reception being the first point of call for all visitors and parents. No two days are the same so the successful candidate will need to have the resilience and enthusiasm to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful you should be educated to level 4 or above in English and Maths and ideally have an intermediate level or above qualification in word processing. You should have experience of using Microsoft office and databases packages. It is also essential that you have excellent customer service and communication skills as well as previous experience in administration including reception work. Experience of working in a school setting is desirable.

The Oaklands Primary School is a 2-form entry Primary school in Acock’s Green Birmingham. Our Ofsted report (March 2025) has identified many positives within our school including the school being “highly ambitious for all pupils to learn, experience, achieve and flourish”. The school provides an “exceptional education experience for all”, with an “aspirational curriculum” which is “meticulously planned and sequenced” and has “high expectations embedded across the curriculum”.

We embrace and celebrate the diverse communities that make The Oaklands ‘who we are’. We believe that every child has the right to the highest possible standards in their education so that they are equipped with the skills they need to succeed in life. We are ambitious and aspirational for all our pupils and set high targets. We aim high because we know with the right opportunities, our pupils can do it.

We take great pride in developing a caring, creative and safe environment for our pupils and we are passionate about providing a rich and varied curriculum that inspires curiosity and enquiry.

Are you our newest recruit? Are you ready to really make a difference and join us on our journey?

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
