Attendance Officer
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)
About the role:
As Attendance Officer, you will play a vital role in promoting excellent attendance and ensuring that attendance concerns are identified and addressed quickly and effectively.
Working closely with students, families and colleagues across the academy, you will manage daily attendance processes, investigate attendance concerns, follow up absences and support interventions that help remove barriers to learning. You will also play an important role in safeguarding by ensuring that unexplained absences and attendance concerns are identified, investigated and escalated appropriately.
The role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to build positive relationships whilst maintaining high expectations. You will be resilient, organised and committed to ensuring that every student has access to the education they are entitled to.
