Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily cleaning duties across the school and nursery, ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard.
  • Clean and sanitise surfaces, including desks, tables, doors and frequently touched areas.
  • Clean and maintain toilets and washroom facilities.
  • Vacuum, sweep and mop floors as required.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Follow health and safety procedures, including the safe use and storage of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Ensure the school premises are securely locked at the end of the shift.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, hygienic and welcoming school environment
