Salary: Band A. Full Time Equivalent salary: £25,614 per annum. Actual salary range is £9797 for 15 hours per week, 43 weeks per year
Hours of work: 15 hours per week. Monday to Friday. 3.25pm - 6.25pm
Contract: Permanent, Part Time, Term time plus 4 weeks during school holidays (total 43 weeks per year)
Henley in Arden School are looking for a Cleaner to join our friendly school and provide an efficient support service to the school by ensuring a clean, safe and secure learning environment.

The key responsibilities for this post are as follows (a comprehensive job description and person specification are available):
- Daily cleaning and deep cleaning
- To keep all areas of the school clean and tidy, e.g. mopping, vacuuming, dusting, floor polishing, toilet cleaning
- Use of mechanical equipment, e.g. floor polishing
- Ensure equipment is in good working order
- First aid
- Safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults
Qualities & Qualifications required:
- A reasonable standard of literacy and numeracy, with a willingness to undergo future training and development
- Ability to carry out manual handling and other physical tasks
- Good communication skills with the ability to talk with school staff, pupils, parents and contractors
- Basic understanding of IT
- Daily cleaning and deep cleaning experience
- Basic knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation relative to the post
