We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented cover supervisor to join our existing cover team, providing classroom cover across our Aylsham Learning Federation Schools. This post will be based at Aylsham High School and the main focus will be AHS cover however our cover supervisors work across all schools in our federation - Aylsham High School, Bure Valley School and John of Gaunt Infant and Nursery School - and this could mean working flexibly across more than one school in one day.

The successful candidate will be expected to cover a range of ages, subjects and classes, and will work across our schools which include children from age five to sixteen. The cover supervision role will sometimes include other activities such as covering for a teaching assistant, technician, administrative roles and medical needs office. Ideally you will have experience in a school environment, however this is not essential as full training will be provided. What is important is that the successful candidate is flexible and can work well in different and busy environments, whilst remaining calm. Applicants with experience in a classroom support role would be welcomed along with those who have had previous experience in behaviour management.

Aylsham Learning Federation includes Aylsham High School, Bure Valley School, John of Gaunt Infant and Nursery School and John Bear’s Nursery. Aylsham Learning Federation support staff are part of an excellent local government pension scheme with a generous 20%+ employer contribution. All of our colleagues can benefit from discounted membership to our leisure facilities available through Aylsham Sports Hub, including a purpose built gym along with reduced fees for our nursery located in Aylsham. The school has excellent staff, great facilities, and a wonderful group of pupils. The support that we enjoy from parents and the wider community is fantastic.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
