Salary: MPS/UPS Plus TLR 2D £6,091 Start Date: January 2027

The Deputy Head of Mathematics will ensure the highest standards of learning, development and achievement for their scholars and will take responsibility for the education and welfare of all scholars of Astrea Academy Dearne. Within this, they are responsible for the planning, preparation and assessment of work for all scholars, including those who are absent.

About Us: Astrea Academy Dearne is an 11-16 secondary academy situated in Barnsley, with around 1100 students. We are within commutable distance from Wakefield, Leeds, Doncaster, and Sheffield and are proud members of the Astrea Academy Trust family of schools.
