The posting

Required for an Easter 2026 start

Stopsley High School is seeking to appoint an ambitious and experienced teacher or leader to the role of Deputy SENCO. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who has a strong track record of working with pupils with SEND and their families, and will be ready to take on the challenges and rewards of this leadership role within our dedicated and forward-thinking SEND team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in our large, vibrant, and forward-looking SEND team, led by an experienced and dynamic SENDCO. Our team is passionate about adaptive teaching and committed to delivering an outstanding academic experience for students with SEND.

Stopsley High School has been on a rapid improvement journey, becoming an academy in September 2021 and joining the Middlesex Learning Trust. Our school has benefited from collaborative networking across the Trust, opportunities to share best practice, and access to innovative training. This hard work was recognised in our Ofsted inspection in September 2022, where we were graded “Good” in all five areas.

There are a multitude of benefits to working at Stopsley High School, with Middlesex Learning Trust to support. Benefits include but is not limited to:

  • Access to fantastic facilities at Stopsley High School in our state of the art school built in 2016, including access to our fitness suite which is free for staff.
  • A comprehensive New Staff Induction programme including a range of personalised CPD opportunities.
  • A supportive staff body who enjoy working collaboratively.
  • A strong commitment to staff wellbeing.
  • Access to excellent teacher training provision via the SCITT within the Trust, based at The Compton School. SCITT has been graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in June 2022.
  • Career pathways and a strong history of promotion across the Trust.
  • Access to national CPD programmes such as Ambition Institute NPQs to develop leadership expertise and specialisms.
  • Opportunity to take part in our Talent Management Programme which has well-developed tiers to develop the skills of staff and prepare them for promotion within the Trust.
  • Excellent public transport and road links to the rest of the UK and Europe.

Applications will be considered for interview as they are received, so early submission is recommended. We would be happy to welcome you for a tour of the school and to get more information before applying, if you would like to do this please contact [email protected]

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
