The posting

Are you interested in joining the St John’s family and playing a part in the future success of our school?

We are all really proud of the journey we have made so far successfully transitioning from a 2 form Infant school to a fully functioning primary school.

The governors, staff and pupils are therefore seeking to appoint 2 skilled and enthusiastic ESAs to support the functioning of our daily school life.

If this sounds of interest to you and you would like to join our dedicated team then we would love to hear from you.

The St John’s family are looking for someone who:

  • Caring, patient, thoughtful and willing to demonstrate our school values.
  • Friendly and able to form strong relationships with other staff and children
  • Work closely with the class teacher and groups of children.
  • Support children over break times and lunchtimes (inside and outside) to meet their needs.
  • Able to set and achieve high standards and expectations in learning, behaviour and care.
  • Able to work in a team and adapt their practice.
  • Creative in their approach to children's learning.
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated to enabling every child to fulfil their potential.
  • Someone who enjoys taking a full part in the wider life of our school.
  • Good quality maths and literacy skills to help the children with their learning.
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills.

We can offer you:

A happy, inclusive school that serves a diverse community where everyone is respected and valued.

A hard working, experienced and supportive team of staff and governors to work alongside.

Children who take pride in their learning and value their school life.

Parents and carers who appreciate the efforts of school staff and are very much part of the St John’s family.

Excellent professional development opportunities.

All candidates are warmly welcomed to visit the school. Please phone the school office on 01924 325323 to arrange a visit. Alternatively, please see our website page for more details about our school https://www.stjohnsdewsbury.co.uk/

St John’s C E (C) Primary School is currently an ‘Associate Member and joining school’ of Learning Accord MAT. Please visit Learning Accord’s website at https://www.learningaccord.org/ for more information about the MAT.

St John’s C E (C) Primary School are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check in line with our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy. A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
