The posting

Mounts Bay Academy is an ambitious, forward-thinking school at the heart of the Penzance and Penwith community. As part of Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, we are on an exciting journey of improvement, building on our many strengths whilst creating an exceptional educational experience for every young person.

Visitors to our school regularly comment on the positive atmosphere that exists throughout the academy. Our students are welcoming, hardworking and proud of their school, whilst our staff share a commitment to high expectations, continuous improvement and ensuring that every child can thrive.

We are creating a culture where teachers are empowered to focus on what matters most: excellent teaching and learning. Through clear systems, strong routines and a relentless focus on the classroom, we are ensuring that teachers can spend their time doing what they do best: delivering engaging lessons and inspiring young people to succeed.

As a school committed to preparing students for the future, we continue to invest heavily in 21st-century technology. Every student has access to their own device, supporting high-quality digital learning and helping develop the skills and knowledge required for success in a rapidly changing world.

Professional development sits at the heart of our improvement strategy. Every teacher benefits from a comprehensive programme of coaching, professional learning and collaborative development. Whether you are at an early stage of your career or a highly experienced practitioner, you will be supported to continually refine and strengthen your practice.

Beyond the classroom, Mounts Bay Academy offers exceptional opportunities for students, supported by some of the finest sporting facilities in the region, including our recently redeveloped 3G sports complex. We believe that education extends far beyond lessons and are proud of the rich range of experiences available to our students.

Most importantly, Mounts Bay Academy is a school at the centre of its community. We are proud to serve Penzance and Penwith and ambitious about the role education can play in supporting the future success of our young people and our community.

This is a genuinely exciting time to join Mounts Bay Academy. We invite you to become part of our journey and help shape the future of a school with enormous potential.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
