Salary: MPS/UPS Contract: Full Time, Permanent

St Mary's Catholic Academy, part of the St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are passionate about providing high-quality education and ensuring every child achieves their full potential. The successful candidate will teach within our caring and inclusive school community and play a key role in supporting the academic, social and emotional development of our pupils.

We are seeking an individual who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, has high expectations for all pupils, and is able to work effectively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner or demonstrate the potential to become one.
  • Have experience of teaching primary-aged children, or be a highly motivated ECT ready to begin their teaching career.
  • Have high expectations of pupils' achievement, behaviour and personal development.
  • Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Be skilled in using assessment information to support pupil progress and improve outcomes.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive practice and ensuring all children can thrive and succeed.
  • Be an effective team player who contributes positively to the wider life of the school.
  • Support and uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
  • Be committed to securing the best possible outcomes for all pupils through high-quality teaching and learning.
