Knowledge and qualifications:

Essential for this role:
- Educated to honours degree or above
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
You are likely to have:
- Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the Primary Curriculum
- Knowledge and understanding of statutory assessment requirements and arrangements
- Knowledge and understanding of the implications of equal opportunities, multicultural education and inclusion
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection legislation and guidance
You may have:
- Knowledge and understanding of current research into effective learning strategies, educational trends and issues
- Willingness to take on subject leadership of a curriculum area if required
