Working closely with the Head of Mathematics and wider curriculum team, you will help identify priorities, promote best practice and contribute to high standards of teaching and pupil outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Mathematics teacher who is ready to take on a wider leadership role, make a real impact and help create a culture where pupils and staff are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced, highly effective Mathematics teacher who is passionate about inspiring pupils and ready to make a wider impact across the department.

You will bring:

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and a deep understanding of effective mathematical pedagogy.
  • QTS and a recognised teaching qualification, with substantial experience teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3-5.
  • A proven ability to plan and deliver engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of pupils with a wide range of abilities and learning needs.
  • Experience using assessment, progress data and intervention strategies to improve pupil outcomes and address underachievement.
  • A strong track record of effective classroom management and creating a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Experience contributing to curriculum development and whole-school improvement, with a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • The ability to coach, mentor and support colleagues, sharing best practice and helping to develop teaching across Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents and the wider academy community.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, equality, diversity and pupil wellbeing.
  • A passion for Mathematics and the ability to inspire confidence, curiosity and a love of learning in pupils.
  • A proactive, reflective and solution-focused approach, with a commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.

If you are an ambitious Mathematics practitioner who wants to lead by example, support colleagues and help shape excellent teaching and learning, we would love to hear from you.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
